He can start practicing December 14th. The Georgia guard signed last June, but did not make the grade. But Ware kept working at it and that work has paid off. The freshman is projected to be a backup to starting point guard Peyton Siva. This news, just a day after The Cards lost reserve guard Mike Marra for the season to a knee injury.
Also Monday, UK reserve guard Stacey Poole Jr. decided to transfer to another program. The sophomore hardly played. Head Coach John Calipari said he expected Poole would eventually break through and play. But his family wants that to happen sooner rather than later. So it will be at another school.
