Matt Jones, RB, Armwood – One of the main reasons the four-star running back isn’t in the ESPNU 150 is inconsistency. Jones just doesn’t “bring it” on every down like he should. On Friday there were times when he got happy feet and spent too much time trying to make a highlight-reel worthy juke instead of putting his head down and imposing his will with his 6-foot-2, 225-pound frame. Larry Diffenbauch, a Geneva piano instructor and regular performer at Geneva's Niche Restaurant, 14 S. Third St., has teamed up with Broadway singer Matt Jones for an encore preformance Tuesday, Nov. 15 as a result of the popularity of last week's sellout performance.
Cocktails begin at 6 p.m. and the dinner concert starts at 6:30 p.m. The menu, created by chef Serena Perdue, includes carrot soup, fried shallots and apple cider gastrique followed by a selection of entrees including seared skate with romesco sauce or smoked Muscovy duck as well as spiced hot chocolate with cookies-meringue, brule banana and peanut butter ice cream.
